We liked very much the ambiance of the hotel, the setting amongst trees (like a forest) and the helpful attitude of the staff in getting the computer set-up working.
For us, it was perfect.
We enjoyed the peaceful location and old world charm.
Quiet, great location to relax, rooms are big and classy furnished. Modern, comfortable bathroom. Don't miss breakfast on the terrace.
The staff, a regular rooms are ok for overnight stay not any more.
I booked an regular room, it was realy small, no tv, no minibar. The shower was kind of strange and the toilette was just neer the bed head. There is nothing to eat after 22 o'clock at the area, no restorant at the hotel.
The ambience of the hotel and its surroundings.
The room could be more spacius, there should be a little more space (drawers, cupboards, etc.) to place the luggage and its contents.
The hotel is in a lovely parkland setting mid-way between Amboise and Blois. It has a lift to access upper floors. The bathroom was clean and ornate in a faux-imperial style. Internet access is provided free via WiFi.
The room was clean but quite basic. There is no TV or radio provided - not even an alarm clock. There is no restaurant or bar and it is necessary to drive at least 5km to find food. It does offer breakfast but we did not take it - (it smelled unappetising). The hotel is a member of Relais du Silence - I don't know how. It is on a road that becomes quite noisy on occasion and noise also comes from a nearby train line.
Nice staff and good for relaxing place.
nothing on line with the expected.
A very peaceful and beautiful location. Beautiful and unusually decorated room. Very friendly, quiet hotel with lovely views and walks surrounding it.
You needed to drive out to get to a restaurant. A hotel restaurant would make it perfect.
First rate introduction to the Chateaux f the Loire!
Very romantic hotel, view from our room was very nice. Owner is friendly. Breakfast was good, and the best thing about breakfast was that we could sit and eat outside.
A very pleasant small chateau set perfectly in a quiet and beautiful countryside. The friendly personnel, good breakfasts and vicinity of the more historic chateaux of the Loire valley add even more advantages to it.
It is almost perfect, although there are no TVs in rooms (obviously in line with the type of hotel - instead there's very fast and easy access to the internet).
nice hotel in quiet setting. Ideally located between Blois and Amboise. we had a small room in the chateau but very clean and good beds. Very friendly lady serving breakfast. breakfast was nice, contintental with small buffet of cheese, yoghurt, cereals and fruit! hotel is somehow B&B style with personal touch.
It was very quiet and peaceful, with helpful and courteous staff as required. The furniture and rooms were of a very high standard also.
One needs a car to make it to the various restaurants within the area.
The beauty of the buikling and the friendlyness of the staff.
We were not placed in the main house as shown in the hotel pictures but in the other 'quarters' without a view,in the 'woods'. Paid alot for a family suite which was cold, heaters only worked the morning when we left and some bedsheets had insect eggs in them!!!
